Velatte is the most advanced, open standards-based development solution on the market today.

Velatte is based on a repository that describes Business Entities, Business Rules and Business Processes. It also describes exactly how these should be deployed and stored in a J2EE Application Server and a Relational Database System. Alongside the Repository is a series of distributed, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) that can access the descriptions and deploy these via standards-based (J2EE) servers to a variety of devices.

The Velatte Designer enables Business Analysts to focus on the transfer of business knowledge to the repository. This eliminates editing, compiling and debugging reams of program code typically required to build applications.

Velatte enables each required business process to be modeled visually and to be stored in a metadata repository. Each business process need only be described once as it can then be applied in an application multiple times in a true object oriented model. Components can be combined and expanded with business rules, allowing complex assembly without the need to write program code.
